Predicting pluvial flooding using an integrated calculation model
PluviAG shows how, during an extreme downpour, rainwater drains away underground and above ground, and where this could cause inconvenience or nuisance. To this end, various data sources such as the sewer model, the water model (surface water), and the above ground model (surface level) are combined into a single integrated calculation model. The model performs even better if the predictions are compared against practical experience gained by municipalities, fire brigades, and residents.

Subsequently, the tool presents the effects of pluvial flooding on a map and in 3D animations, which makes them accessible to a wide audience. This enables administrators, residents, and engineers to jointly explore resources and measures to reduce and prevent (damage caused by) pluvial flooding.
