Guidelines for spatial adaptation
The Guidelines for Spatial Adaptation provide information on climate-proof and water-resilient spatial planning. The Guidelines are intended as a practical adaptation tool to be used, e.g., in the management of public space, the selection of locations for new developments or infrastructure, the granting of permits, and investment decisions. The steps listed under Analysis address the analysis of what is happening in an area, the steps listed under Ambition help to formulate ambitions and goals, and the steps listed under Action give suggestions on the embedding and eventual realisation of spatial adaptation through policy and regulations, with ample attention for linkage opportunities.
