Mobile forest on rooftop and square in Hilversum Media Park

The square in front of the NOS building in Hilversum Media Park is located on top of a multistorey car park. For a long time, the square featured little greenery and tended to warm up quickly during hot periods. For that reason, a modular, lightweight and mobile forest has been created. The forest is composed of several green sections with trees and plants. On warm days, they provide shade and help to cool the area. In addition, the green sections enhance biodiversity and create a more attractive and healthier working environment. They allow staff to go for a stroll, meet one another and relax for a while. The green sections are easily moved around, which enables flexible use of the square for shoots, events and other activities. This is important for a location that serves as both a campus and a media park.
