The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) reinforces citizens’ right to privacy. Under the auspices of the Delta Plan on Spatial Adaptation, the Foundation CAS (Climate Adaptation Services) is committed to correctly dealing with personal data. We will not store any more personal data than is necessary for the execution of our tasks.
We will take appropriate measures to secure personal data. By taking security measures up front, we ensure that personal data are protected at all times. The Foundation CAS will not keep personal data any longer than permitted by law and as necessary. For each processing purpose, we will determine for how long the data is relevant and needs to be stored.
Once the processing purpose has been attained and the storage time has thus elapsed, the data will be deleted or rendered anonymous. Anonymisation will remove any identifying features from the personal data, thus leaving statistical data that cannot in any way be linked to an individual. This statistical data will be used to gain insight into the use of our products or services.
