How do we ensure that cities can resist floods, heavier precipitation, drought, and heat? Increasingly often, urban development experts, engineers, policy-makers, and interest organisations are faced with the challenge of adapting cities to climate change. A great deal of research has been conducted over recent years and potential measures fill many books. The Climate Adaptation app provides easy and quick access to these measures.
The app offers information and inspiration relevant to new construction, restructuring, or renovation projects. Based on simple criteria such as scale, land use, and type of project, the app selects and ranks the potential measures. This provides you with rapid insight into the most relevant measures.
The Climate Adaptation app has been developed for global use, and has been field-tested in Rotterdam, Delft, Ho Chi Minh City, Copenhagen, and New Orleans.
