For whom

The website is mainly for people who find little relief from the heat at home, older people, children, and people with long-term health problems. Do you work for a municipality, a Municipal Health Service (GGD) or a housing association? Then you can use this website to help residents find a cool place.

How can Cool Spot be used?

People looking for relief from the heat can use Koelplekje to find a cool place nearby straight away. A cool place is a public space where the temperature is no higher than 26 °C. You can sit there, and water is available. Does your organisation want to offer a cool place? Then you can register it on the website. You can also use the website to ask your municipality to draw up a heat plan and to provide more cool places.
