Environment List Online Tool
Under the Environmental Investments Deduction (MIA) and Arbitrary Depreciation of Environmental Investments (Vamil) schemes, entrepreneurs qualify for tax benefits when investing in climate-adaptive and eco-friendly capital goods. The Environment List Online Tool shows which capital goods qualify for tax benefits.
For whom?
Entrepreneurs interested in investing in climate-adaptive and eco-friendly capital goods.
How can the tool be used?
The tool helps you to find your eco-friendly investment and tax benefit on the Environment List of the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO). Have you purchased or commissioned an asset in 2024? Then search in the Environment List 2024. If you ordered or purchased in 2025, search the 2025 Environment List. The list on the pages of both environment lists can be searched in three ways:
- Using the interactive infographic, offering a graphic representation of the investment options for each sector;
- Using the search tool to search by sector, environmental goal, key word or Environment List code;
- Searching in the MIA/Vamil Brochure and Environment List 2024 or 2025. These are pdf files that are easy to navigate via the table of contents and clickable icons.
The tool also shows what has changed in the 2025 Environment List compared to the 2024 Environment List. For example, in 2025 you may include the cost of roof insulation and roofing in the application for a green roof. For all changes in the 2025 Environment List in the area of climate adaptation, see the section 'Construction (built environment) and climate adaptation'.
