Guide to Dialogues
Have you conducted climate stress tests in your area? The next step will be to discuss the outcomes in risk dialogues. This involves discussing the risks your area is running as a result of climate change and what measures need to be taken. But which parties do you need to approach and how do you conduct such dialogues? The Guide to Dialogues can help you on your way.
For whom?
The guide is intended for municipalities, authorities in charge of working regions and provinces that have conducted climate stress tests and intend to conduct risk dialogues.
How can the Guide to Dialogues be used?
This guide comprises three canvases that can be downloaded and filled in. The first helps you to demarcate the dialogues, the second assists you to conduct the dialogues and the third helps you to properly set down the collective choices made in the dialogues. The canvases provide a visual overview that helps to structure and focus the risk dialogues, enabling you to efficiently organise every stage of these dialogues.
The canvases can be filled in using the questions and aids provided in the guide. Would you like more information on how to fill in such a canvas? The model canvases, which can be viewed for the local, regional and supra-regional levels, will provide inspiration.
Who has developed the Guide to Dialogues?
TwynstraGudde and Sweco consultancies have developed the guide. The process was monitored by the Dialogues working group within the Delta Programme for Spatial Adaptation, under the auspices of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management.
Date of publication
