Guide Models

Guide models are visual diagrams, available for the 10 different types of landscapes in the Netherlands. Each model provides suggestions for climate adaptation in 3 steps: (1): 3D visualisation of the baseline situation of the natural system, (2): reinforcement of climate resilience, (3): opportunities for economic initiatives (eco system services). The guide models are available at the regional and urban levels. The models also provide additional information on the main climate impact on a particular type of landscape, and on the underlying development principles. The models have been developed on the basis of many workshops, projects, and literature studies.
