The Living Building manual

The VHG sector association has developed The Living Building manual, a book full of inspiring ideas for attractive green buildings.

The manual presents examples of completed projects and inspiring applications, based on scientific research and practical experience. It also addresses failure and success factors with respect to layout, use, and maintenance. Furthermore, it points out the importance of the timely involvement of a greenery professional and of expert maintenance.

The information is intended to assist and inspire greenery professionals, principals, architects, landscape architects, and project developers when it comes to the integrated design, construction, and management of living buildings. The manual is also quite helpful for provincial and municipal authorities embarking on a (re)development process for a location.
