Living Public Spaces Manual

This manual deals with greenery in public spaces. It features many inspiring practical examples of how greenery in public spaces can foster climate adaptation, health, biodiversity, and the circular economy. It is not only useful for landscape architects and greenery professionals, but also for principals and staff of provincial authorities, municipalities, and district water boards. The chapters on “Temperature” and “Water” contain many tips and inspiration to utilise greenery in the purview of climate adaptation.

This manual has been commissioned by the VHG sector association. It is a follow-up to the Living Garden and Living Building manuals.
