State of your Street

The State of your Street web tool uses a well-structured label to show you how well your street is prepared for the changing climate. The label consists of sub-labels pertaining to the four climate adaptation issues: waterlogging, urban flooding, heat, and drought.  State of your Street is a means of communication aimed at making residents aware of the impact of climate change. Municipal authorities can use it as a basis for entering into a risk dialogue with residents. The State of your Street tool thus garners support and sparks action, both within and beyond the municipal organisation.

The State of your Street tool is customised and available in several formats. The labels may be published online on the municipal website or presented by way of a story map, or the results may be printed in a folder format for each individual street. This ensures that climate information is always available in the appropriate format, tailored to the municipal communication strategy.
