Manuals for Sustainable Industrial Estates

The Province of Overijssel, entrepreneurs’ organisation MKB Nederland Midden and the Confederation of Netherlands Industry and Employers (VNO-NCW) Midden have drawn up a comprehensive strategy for future-proof industrial estates in the province. Under this strategy, the three parties have written two manuals for enhancing the sustainability of industrial estates: one for existing buildings and estates and one for new buildings and estates.

Entrepreneurs set their store by attractive, future-proof industrial estates. Investing in sustainable estates holds value, not only for society but also for entrepreneurs and employees. Thus, many entrepreneurs view the pursuit of sustainability in their business or industrial estate as worthwhile. But how can a building or estate be rendered sustainable? These manuals show what measures you can take inside and outside existing and new buildings. They also provide information on how and at what stage the measures can best be carried out.
